3 Flake. The upper right part of the type 3 flake from photograph
9 four days after the specimen was taken. An abundance of granules
have been produced around the whole flake and their size increases
the further away they are from the edge of the flake, at the same
time displacing the blood corpuscles around it. Diagnosis: Found in
a mentally retarded child and in cases of Hodgkin’s Disease.
